
Ms. Tamanna Nawrin Azam
Tamanna Nowrin Azam committed to inspiring and guiding students toward academic and personal excellence by fostering a challenging, engaging, and intellectually stimulating learning environment that encourages them to become lifelong scholars and learners. Henceforth, she is motivated to pursue research and further study for self-development. Tamanna joined CBIU in 2018 as Lecturer of English Department. She has more than 6 years of teaching experience in diverse disciplines, namely, Language, Philosophy, American Literature, Shakespeare’s Plays and Poetry, South Asian Literature, and basics of English language and literature in different institutions of Bangladesh. Alongside her academic responsibilities, she currently serves as an Additional Director at CBIU IQAC.
In addition to her teaching career at CBIU, Tamanna Nowrin Azam has been actively engaged with various institutions both nationally and internationally in a range of professional capacities. She is a language trainer, life skill trainer, a researcher, and an explorer of newer field of knowledge. Her research interests primarily focus on psycholinguistics, applied linguistics, and comparative literature. She has published numerous scholarly articles in these areas and has presented her work at various international conferences. Committed to ongoing professional development, she has consistently enhanced her expertise by participating in a wide range of academic trainings and specialized courses both nationally and internationally. She is affiliated with TESOL, BELTA, AsiaTEFL and GASD. She is an alumna of US Exchange Programs.
